Technician

In-house and field service support responsibilities including Shipping and receiving, installation, set-up, and repair of custom vending machines. You will be part of our execution team but will be involved from time to time in our mechanical designing stages.

Responsibilities:

• Refurbish used equipment
• Repair parts and electrical rigging
• Troubleshoot computers/electronics to modular level
• Setup user interface software
• Setup cloud-based backend management
• Install equipment in various locations
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
• Consistent and effective communication with production and account managers

Qualifications:

• Fast-paced, independent, motivated self-starter with analytical problem solving skills
• Willing to travel
• Mechanically inclined and familiar with all hand tools
• Technical degree preferred
• Vending industry experience ideal, but not required
• Prior experience driving and trailer-towing preferred
• Valid Driver's License / Clean Driving Record
• Must be able to handle (load, unload, push, pull, lift, carry, etc.) all equipment including boxes, vending machines, show furniture, and parts
• Must be able to lift/carry 80+ lbs. and move 50 sq. ft./1000 lbs. fragile pieces alone with the help of material handling equipment
• Deliveries can involve stairs, curbs, and inside white glove deliveries.
• Must be able to safely and securely crate equipment
• Must be able to handle a forklift, pump jack, and dollies
• Computer skills a must
• Basic Arduino programming and Knowledge a plus
• Must be punctual and able to work overtime and travel as business requires

The ideal candidate will be trained hands on. As certifications arise, the ideal candidate will be willing to take industry courses when needed and paid for by Optimal Station.
